Calypso Pro Dive Academy is licensed to conduct Professional SCUBA Training in the State of Florida by the Commission for Independent Education and approved by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) as a 5-Star Instructor Development Center.
Our 6600 sq. ft. SCUBA training facility includes commercial retail space, two classrooms (one small classroom for private sessions and a larger classroom for group training), a 50,000-gallon heated and indoor pool, full diving equipment and computer service center, rental locker, and changing/locker rooms. Both classrooms are equipped with roundtable style seating and the latest technology in Video Conferencing, audio and video displays, computer equipment, internet connections and teaching equipment. We provide high speed wireless internet at the school and a computer is available for student use during assignments and breaks. The heated and indoor pool is the ideal confined water training location that is less likely to be impacted by severe and cold weather. The pool is nearly 1000 sq. ft., ranges from 3 ½’ to 10 ½’ in depth and is maintained at a nearly constant 87-88 degrees.
There are several open water dive settings ranging from just a few minutes to a few hours from the school that offer varied diving environments to provide professional candidates with a well rounded education.
